Health
Here are two references for learning about health effects. The first decribes the symptoms of the condition. The second provides a more in depth review of the growing body of evidence that industrial wind turbines produce serious health problems when built with inadequate setbacks.

Below is an article summarizing our position on the health effects and the imperative need to do independent third party studies and to develop a surveillance program for wind turbine related medical illness.
What is our position on wind turbine related illness?
The proper setback that will ensure the safety of nearby residents has yet to be determined. We know for sure that when industrial turbines are built within 500 meters of residential dwellings a large number of people suffer ill effects. We know that as the distance increases fewer people suffer ill effects. The number of people who are adversely impacted by industrial turbines located greater than 2 km. away from their residence is quite small. This information has prompted experts to call for a 2 km setback at least until more studies can be done. Unfortunately for rural Ontarians the government seems intent on pushing ahead with a 550 M setback. By the time the studies have been done hundreds of new turbine farms will have been built and many Ontario families will have suffered serious hardship. Will the turbines be moved at that time? Who will bear the responsibility for compensating victims for the loss of their financial security and health? If you are wondering if there is a better way you might be interested in one of our petitions.

And if you are concerned about industrial wind turbines and their impact on the health of your family, here is a letter you might consider sending to the company:
Please pose the question below to the wind company in your area. Some may send by email, as well as by mail…. regular and registered (even hand delivered) until a response is received.
To Wind Proponent with a proposed project in your area:
Many people in Ontario are coming forward to report adverse health effects and disturbed living conditions since the start-up of industrial wind turbines in their area.
As one of the people who may be living in the shadow of your 400 foot plus industrial wind towers, I would like to know, without doubt, that my family will not experience ill health from excessive dBA levels, low frequency noise, vibration or electrical pollution from shoddy connection to the grid.
Can you guarantee that my family will not be effected from the installation and operation of turbines sited within 2 kms of my home? May I have that in writing please?
Sincerely,
Your name and address
